The book group was started by Bruce Bode in January 2003. Bruce had some required reading to do, and decided to have the group read along with him. Bruce was an interim minister at FirstUU, and is now minister of a church in Washington State. Tom Weil took over the group when Bruce left. The picture below is of Tom's going away party, when Tom left us to move to Connecticut. Dave Bergt led the group for a while, until conflicts kept him from participating, and our current group leader is Dick Hannemann.
